At its core, an Astrology Natal Chart is a snapshot of the heavens at the exact moment of your birth, capturing the positions of the planets, stars, and celestial bodies in relation to Earth. You may already know your 'Zodiac Sign' which you probably mean to say is you 'Sun Sign', but there is so much magic that lay beyond. Someone with a Pisces Sun, Capricorn Moon and Leo Rising is a very different cosmic blueprint than someone with a Pisces Sun, Scorpio Moon and Sagittarius Rising. You need to take into account your whole chart (and your Sun, Moon and Rising Signs are just the first layer that even begin to scratch the surface of your cosmic blueprint).

To find you birth chart, you'll need: the location, date and exact time of your birth. (Yes, you'll need the exact time from your birth certificate or mom. Don't skip this step). Then you can generate a Natal Chart from one of the many apps and websites available to you - I recommend Cafe Astrology for it's beginner friendly layout and decoding of your chart. Key Focuses

The major areas to look for are your sun, moon and rising signs. Note the zodiac sign they're governed by as well as the house they're in. The Zodiac Sign placements are what rays shine through your personality, the House placement governs the area of life these are in.

Your natal chart will be a round wheel, sliced into 12 segments. Each of these segments will have a Zodiac on the outer edge and House Number located towards the centre of the chart (1-12). Once you locate your Sun (circle with a dot in the middle symbol), Moon (crescent moon symbol)and Rising (ASC), you can then look to see which segment it belongs to. Write these down!
E.g. Sun in Aries, 1st House.
